Drinks are strong. Food is good. Kids loved feeding the fish from the dock. Staff was also very nice and helpful.

We have been coming here for years, and can always count on a very good experience. The food is good, as are the water views. The menu has changed a little over the years, but the Fisheries salad, the bread, and other dishes remain. A good place for a special occasion, and even a holiday like New Years Eve. Everyone we have taken here has enjoyed it, a Ft Lauderdale landmark

Wonderful dinner with my family, there was a bit of a wait and our waiter seemed to be stretched a little too thin but we really enjoyed our meals. We tried the fish tacos, the crab cakes, the Lauderdale marina salad and the king crab and would definitely have them all again! Plus for dessert we had the bread pudding and the fried cheesecake and it was delicious! Prices are a little high but the food is certainly worth it!

Great service and view. Had diver scallops. Scallops were excellent. Well cooked. Potato's dry and salty. Asparagus tasteless. Seafood skillet, flavorful but very salty. Good mixed .drinks

The service is great and the fish is always consistent and delicious. Of course, the tarpon feeding is always fun!

Great food, fun setting. This was a fun spot to bring our out of town guests. The food was excellent with all 4 in our party raving about their food and the view of the activity on the intracoastal was lively and interesting. I had the lobster garganelli pasta and it was excellent with lots of lobster. After dinner, we walked out and checked out the giant tarpon. Service was outstanding and process were about what was expected for waterfront dining.

Fantastic fish. SAMMY'S sizzling skillet had a wonderful seafood cream sauce. Sides were average.

Phenomenal dinner spot. We had a group of 22. All our guests were raving about the food. Marie was our server and was excellent. Sea bass is the best I’ve ever put in my mouth. Highly recommend

We went last night for my husbands birthday. We enjoyed the ambiance of the water views and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Most of all we LOVED the crab cakes, the snapper dish and the lobster. There is nothing bad about our dinner last night. Oh and our cocktails literally had alcohol which helped to end the night well lol. Thanks again for an amazing birthday dinner.

Dinner on the new deck facing the river. Food was great: alligator bites, mussels for starters then grilled swordfish, salad and green beans for my entree. No room for dessert. A highlight was walking on the dock and seeing tarpons swimming in the illuminated waters after dark.

I have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. Located on the intercoastal, the restaurant is scenic, lively, and delicious. From the moment I walk in, ordering, and through the course of the meal, the staff is courteous and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

Reservation for 6:30 pm on a Saturday night (upstairs). Food, drinks and service were all on point. Reasonably priced. Very busy by the time we left.

Wonderful food, atmosphere and music on the outdoor patio. Ate here before a cruise. Ft. Lauderdale is laid back city.

Complimentary valet parking. Great atmosphere, amazing fish tacos. However the tacos had so much stuff, it's pretty much a fork ordeal, which I was just fine with! Sit outside and watch the Tarpon and Jacks that hang out there.

The food is amazing. Our server was super nice. Loved sitting there watching kids feed the fish. Had to get some bait for my daughter to feed them.

Man, this place was excellent. We had numerous dishes and all were sublime. The chowder, the fritters. Then the entree's , Diver scallops, etc... this place for the quality and price can not be beat. With our wait time and dinner drink's for an excellent meal It was less than $130.

Excellent dinner spot. We were debating between this and several other Fort Lauderdale favorites. This place already has a ton of good reviews, but it still exceeded our expectations. Lots of servers that work in teams, so you never have to wait for "your" server. The foot also exceeded expectations. We would love to go back someday!

The view, the food, and of course feeding the fish at the dock. Place is an icon in Ft. Lauderdale. Absolutely terrific. We always sit downstairs next to the dock. Upstairs is more formal. Highly recommend!

Good food. Good service. Food was good. Only downfall was when I left the table my husband tried to order drinks and wait staff placed dirty dishes and serving tray on our table and took our food. Then told my husband to move the table over for the other people to have a bigger table. Though we weren't done eating. We explained this and asked for a manager none came. Prior to the that incident everything was good.

A very nice place to eat. Casual dining on first floor and more upscale dining on second floor. Both are great in my opinion. Decent value for the most part. Can be a little pricey but, for this area for a 3-4 star dining experience I think it's just about right. Parking is limited so take an uber or Lyft.

Questions & Answers

Yes, It is kid friendly. I have seen parents with kids I would say between the ages of 7-12 feeding the fishes. I would not however suggest for very small kids in that area. You can eat dockside which is pretty protected.

Definitely and walk down to the dock to see the tarpons you and your toddler will love them.

Casual but if you want to dress up you won't be wrong either. It's a very nuce and cool place to dine

I do not know? You'd have to call them.

The dockside restaurant is, but not the upstairs dining.

They have many rooms upstairs, with great views of the intercoastal. The rooms can accommodate different group sizes. In addition, certain areas though not divided by walls, are semi private. Worth looking at!

there is 2 restaurants one on the first floor (more casual) and one on the second floor (formal) prices vary from one to another. Downstairs an average price is $15. Try the alligator bites!

I was told yes

Hughes fish!!!
